1. About this policy

This policy covers RYVEO on the web, its Telegram bot and Mini App. Contact the RYVEO administration at info@ryveo.net for access, correction, deletion and other data enquiries.

We record the document version, time, language and channel when you accept the terms and acknowledge this policy. Reading this policy does not mean consenting to advertising or unrelated processing.

2. Data we receive

Account details include your name, email for email registration, a salted password hash and session information. Telegram sign-in supplies your identifier, name, language and available profile photo. We do not ask for your Telegram password.

Library data includes favourite genres and artists, follows, favourites, playlists, albums, uploaded files and metadata. Playback history includes listening time, repeats, skips, feedback and resume positions.

Watch rooms store membership, playback controls, readiness, messages and reactions. Subscription records include plans, amounts, expiry dates, Telegram invoice and payment identifiers and family membership. RYVEO does not receive bank card details.

Infrastructure may process IP addresses, browser/device information, request times and technical errors to deliver content and protect the service. The bot receives commands and files addressed to it; ordinary group conversations are not used for recommendations.

3. How we use data

To operate and protect accounts, play media, synchronise libraries and progress, personalise My Wave and For Your Day, search and identify music, operate rooms and family plans, manage payments and answer enquiries.

Recommendations use chosen genres and artists, history, repeats, skips and feedback. You can edit initial preferences in your profile. Recommendations do not determine your legal rights.

Processing supports our agreement, security and applicable legal duties. Where applicable law requires separate consent for a particular activity, that consent must be requested separately.

4. Providers and visibility

Telegram supports sign-in, the bot and payments. Cloudflare supports site delivery and connection security. Catalogues, artwork and lyrics may come from Genius, LRCLIB, MusicBrainz, artwork services, PoiskKino and other connected providers; connected music servers include Navidrome/Subsonic. Queries and media metadata are sent to providers needed to fulfil your request.

For recognition, a short sample of your submitted recording goes to ACRCloud; fallback recognition sends an audio fingerprint and duration to AcoustID. Avoid recordings containing confidential conversations. The bot does not switch on your microphone by itself.

When an external image or stream loads directly, the provider may receive your IP address and technical device information. Processing may take place outside your country. External providers have their own privacy policies.

Room participants can see your name, available photo, status, messages and reactions. Active Premium adds a supporter badge beside your name, including in rooms and community albums. A family owner can see family members. Albums, playlists and permitted uploads you publish are visible to others; family membership alone does not expose your private library. We store your selected recording and viewing month for the free cinema allowance.

5. Retention and security

Account and library data are retained while needed for your account. On deletion requests we verify account ownership and remove data no longer needed; payment, legal and dispute records may be retained longer where necessary.

Sign-in sessions last up to 30 days unless ended earlier. Temporary recognition files are removed after processing; this does not remove the original Telegram message. Recognition results may be cached temporarily to avoid resending the same recording.

We use HTTPS, session validation and access controls. Account passwords are stored as salted hashes. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Cookies and your device

RYVEO uses a session cookie, a language cookie and local storage for language, appearance, player preferences and installed web app functionality. These support the operation of the service.

You can clear these in your browser settings. You may need to sign in and set preferences again. Clearing browser data does not delete your account or server-side history.

7. Choices and requests

Edit your name, language and preferences in your profile, manage your library and sign out. For a data copy, corrections, account deletion, processing restrictions or withdrawal of a separate consent, email info@ryveo.net from your account address or include your Telegram ID. Never send your password.

We may ask you to confirm account ownership and will handle requests within applicable legal time limits. Deleting an account does not cancel Telegram subscription renewal: cancel it separately to avoid further charges.

We update this page and its revision date when processing changes. Where changes require fresh consent, it will be requested separately.
